Tara has been doing my hair for quite awhile and I LOVE her. The salon atmosphere, cleanliness and Tara especially make the experience great every time. My hair is always much happier after seeing her! Highly recommend anyone to come to her!

There are a few treasured relationships in life that we hope to encounter in life: lifelong spouse, lifelong friends, and of course, a lifelong partner in your hairdresser! I found her….it’s Tara! She’s very talented and has a keen and skillful eye on how your hair needs to be cut to look it’s best, and therefore, how you can look YOUR best. Since partnering with Tara, I have honestly never received consistent compliments from friends, family, and strangers on the street. There’s something about Tara’s techniques and artistry that just makes your look so special. Not only is she technically on point, but she’s also a wonderfully kind and thoughtful human being. She makes you feel seen and heard, and I always feel so relaxed during my time with her. Needless to say, I’m sticking with Tara for life! What a diamond!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this gal. She's been taking care of my hair (and me) for about 7 years now, and I've never been disappointed. She's always excited to try whatever I want, but will honestly and kindly tell me if it's a bad idea with my skin coloring/face shape/etc. which I appreciate. Run - don't walk - to her! She'll make your hair its beautiful-est!

our Founders & Story

I began practicing hairdressing in 1999, and I can honestly tell you I was not a natural talent. Throw in a decent helping of dyslexia it would definitely be described as an uphill battle. However, I was fortunate enough to have been able to learn from many gifted mentors along the way, and so much of my progress is because of them. Fast forward 10 years and I was finally starting to gain some traction. The switch was now flipped and I went from trial and error to really beginning to develop my eye. The “how” and the “why “ were all starting to come together. The fear had dissolved and I was finally able to really see the person in front of me and what was best for them in that moment.

At this time I also began to consume a vast amount of education. Everything from cutting, styling, color techniques, formulation and correction, effective communication skills and public speaking classes. In this time I went from hopeless novice, to becoming a member of my then employers education team and the in-house Bumble and bumble product and styling educator, and having mentees of my own. And this brings me to May of 2022, when I made the decision to work for myself. There were many reasons for this, however the most important one was time. Time to listen. Really listen. Time to explore options, time to craft our plan, and time to execute that plan with intention and thoughtfulness. Our hair is a big deal and attention must be paid.
